So this girl walks up to another girl and says “Hey, have you heard of the Bechdel Test?”
And the other girl says, “Yeah, my boyfriend was telling me about it the other day!”
Putting down confident girls is not feminism
shaming sex workers is not feminism
"I’m not like other girls" is not feminism
slut shaming is not feminism
shaming BDSM practitioners is not feminism
misandry is not feminism
ignoring trans women’s rights is not feminism
the fact that lee pace can play him
continues to boggle my mind daily.
What a great photoset.
"Steven Universe panders to the social justice crowd too much!"
Translation: “I don’t like it because there are POC characters who don’t rely on stereotpes for their characterization, fat characters who aren’t just walking punchlines and female characters who are well written!”
It makes it clear when people use this as a “criticism” against the show.
If you refuse to raise a male child in the future, you are the problem.
If you say “die cis scum” instead of making an effort for actual equality, you are the problem.
If you refuse to listen to a doctor, someone who has years of medical training, about your health situation because they are ‘fat shaming’ you, you are the problem.
If you choose to disrespect someone else due to the bullshit excuse of ‘privilege’, you are the problem.
You can like wearing sundresses and lace and still be nonbinary.
You can like wearing pantsuits with ties and still be a woman.
You can like wearing floral patterns and still be a man.
Gender identity is valid. Gender expression is subjective. Gender norms are bullshit.
i don’t understand why the word “terrorism” hasn’t come up yet. this is literally an attack on unarmed, innocent american people by armed and aggressive forces. this is terrorism, these white people are terrorists, and they are attacking america by holding an entire town of it’s citizens hostage, sequestering them, and acting with brutality against them.
aint nobody calling them terrorists cause they save that title for the brown people
